UC Davis Health began administering third Pfizer/BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine booster shots to patients at its area clinics and to employees on the medical campus, following recommendations by the CDC.
Three UC Davis Health physicians from the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology will discuss COVID-19 and pregnancy in an upcoming UC Davis Health Facebook Live event. The event will air live on Wed., Sept. 29 at 12 p.m.
Dating back to 2016, a total of 114 residents and 30 fellows have graduated from UCR-sponsored programs. Of the residents, 50 have stayed in the Riverside, San Bernardino and Coachella Valley regions and 100 have stayed in California.
The five-year award from California’s stem cell agency will help prepare young scientists and physicians to become leaders in the regenerative medicine field.
UC Davis Health will open an employee flu vaccine clinic in the North Addition Office Building beginning Wednesday, September 22, for all UC Davis Health employees.
