At UCLA Health, we strive every day to be a model that redefines the standard of excellence in health care.
As an academic health center, we offer our patients the latest technologies and access to potentially life-saving new therapies and clinical trials. We bring the latest discoveries to virtually every field of medicine—to improve health for Los Angeles, California and the world.
And our physicians and researchers work across the University of California system to exchange knowledge with clinicians at our other academic health centers. That level of collaboration and innovation leads to better diagnosis and better treatment—for all patients across our hospitals.
With patient care and research in numerous specialties, UCLA Health continues to define what an academic medical center can be. Our physicians and scientists are pioneering work across an astounding range of fields, including organ transplantation, cardiac surgery, neurosurgery, mental health and cancer treatment.
