Wildfire smoke increases inflammation, lung disease risk

Wildfire smoke is known to be dangerous to patients suffering from chronic airway diseases like asthma and COPD. But a recent study finds exposure to wildfire smoke elicits inflammatory changes even in healthy people, putting them at risk of developing lung disease.
