Last August, Kyle Benton was in a terrible longboarding accident and was transported to the UC Davis Pediatric Intensive Care Unit. His injuries included a traumatic brain injury, broken vertebrae and a blood clot in the brain. He would spend 43 days hospitalized, fighting for survival. This is his story.
