The Center for Data-driven Insights and Innovation (CDI2) is advancing how UC uses data to improve patient care, accelerate research and support better health outcomes for Californians. In 2025–2026, the team expanded and strengthened the UC Health Data Warehouse, integrated clinical notes from all UC academic health centers and introduced tools that make health data easier to access and explore. Through systemwide collaboration, CDI2 also advanced efforts to improve access to care, strengthen care quality, enable new discoveries and promote the responsible use of health data and artificial intelligence.
